Fourth Flake [video/action for Goldenrod]

[For once, when the 'gear flickers on, it doesn't show a hopelessly confused or concerned Elsa. This is good!! Very good.

Instead, there's a great look of excitement on the former queen's face. On her shoulder, a Kirlia clings to her shirt, eyes wide in the slats between its little helmet, mirroring its trainer's expression perfectly. Behind them, the massive buildings and skyscrapers of Goldenrod City can be seen, windows glinting in the afternoon sun.]

This is amazing! Don't you think so, Frigga?

[For someone who normally tries to stay as reserved as she possibly can while communicating over these devices, the sound of such unbridled wonder in her voice may be a bit of a change to hear.]

I didn't know buildings could get this tall... I've read about great castles and palaces in books and such, but I've never heard of anything as tall as this. [She smiles, turning to Frigga.] It sure is something, isn't it?

[Frigga smiles and nods, making a happy noise. Elsa then turns back to the gear.]

Are a lot of cities in this land this... big? Violet and Azalea were both decent enough, but they're nowhere near as extravagant as this city!

[There's a pause, then Elsa looks somewhat sheepish as she realizes just how excited she was just acting. O-Oh dear, and so many people saw...]

I'm sorry if I sound rather.... eager. But things like this... buildings and architecture and such... I've always had a fascination with them. And structures like this never got this big in Arendelle...

Are there more cities like this? Ones with interesting or unique architecture? [Boy, she sure does seem pretty darn eager...] Even if they're not anything like this... I'd like to know what cities to look forward to visiting!

[Oh Elsa, your inner nerd is shining through so beautifully...]

As far as I've seen, no. Most of the cities here are... tiny, by the standards I'm used to. Though I haven't been... terribly far, no.

[He's been camped out in Goldenrod for like a month because he's a nerd.]

My own city has had... many buildings like these, for a very long time. I've... I've designed quite a few at home. Constructed and torn down the old, put up the new.

[Shortly after Elsa's video ends, who should appear but this asshole! Seems he heard the excitement. As Henry approaches, ten wild Murkrows follow him, perching in the nearby trees.]

Elsa, hey!

[~~FRIEND~~ ACQUAINTANCE. IN GOLDENROD. GOLDENROD ~~FRIEND~~ ACQUAINTANCE.]

Didn't know you were here.

[Holy heck her sister is just adorable]

I knew you would like it here! I've only came here once in passing, but still, isn't it amazing? This is apparently the biggest city in the whole region. Big shock, I know...

[And it certainly shows. Between how amazing the skyscrapers and the city streets are, and the hustle and bustle of the city life...it can very easily be overwhelming for anyone who's never seen anything like it before. Anna loves being around the people, and everyone here seems so nice, but just marveling over the architecture is an experience in and of itself...

As for her Pokemon, Odin seems a bit daunted, but he proudly sits atop Anna's shoulder opposite Frigga, determined to make sure no harm comes to her even though they're more than safe perched on their trainers...]

There are so many people and places to see here, it's kind of easy to get wrapped up in it...

Wow, really? [Elsa had no idea. She really didn't know much about Anna's journey prior to Elsa arriving in Johto, really, aside from what pokemon she caught...]

Just how far along into this land were you before I arrived?

[She doesn't immediately notice Henry because as soon as she turns her gear off for the moment, Elsa takes in just how many people are out and about and. Wow, ha, that is a lot. So she's kind of just. Doing her best to avoid getting caught up between too many people.

But she definitely hears someone calling her name, and when she turns in the direction the voice came from, she smiles.]

Henry, hello! [Just gunna. Head right over to him. Away from the bunch of people mingling around the street they're currently on.] I wasn't, until an hour or so ago. My sister and I only just arrived today.

You've designed buildings like these?

[OH BOY SOMEONE WHO SHARES HER SUPER NERDY INTEREST]

Do the buildings you design look like these? [She motions to one of the buildings behind her.] Or are they smaller?

[Ding ding ding hot girl alert time to be cool]

Yo! Hate to burst your bubble but Goldenrod's the biggest city in this region. Which is kinda lame because the city I'm from is a whole lot bigger and brighter, and there's tons more stuff to do. But I guess Goldenrod's not too bad; at least it's a city.

If you ain't ever been here before, I could show ya around. I've been livin' here for months now, I can give you the grand tour.

Both, in fact. As well as parks and statues and... well, all sorts of things. At home they were... easy, very easy to change. Just a little bit of coding to... initiate it, and off it went.

[It is kind of a lot, isn't it? Henry was never particularly disturbed by that aspect of Goldenrod, since he had spent his life living and sleeping in tight quarters with other people. The technology, however, was a massive shock to him when he dropped in -- he didn't exactly get the luxury of beginning in New Bark Town like everyone else...]

Ooh, you have a sister? [He remembered Elsa's name but not the fact that she had a sibling... way to go, buddy.] Neat. Well, anyway, you can totally meet Eleanor again too at some point, though she doesn't really like to be around this many people.

[She pulls up her map quickly and runs a finger along the places she went to..]

I didn't end up going very far. After I went to Violet, instead of going down to get to Azalea, I went west instead! I stayed in Ecruteak a little bit...I think you would like the Tin Tower there. It's ten stories high with simmering silver plates lining it, and it's got beautiful trees all around it...it's a very sacred place, and it's really well protected. They don't let you in unless you can prove you're worthy...

Apparently there's a legend behind it, that there were actually two of them next to one another at one point. The Tin Tower and the Brass Tower were made to honor hope and friendship between people and Pokemon. Apparently, there used to be legendary Pokemon that stayed on top of the towers...the guardian of the seas, strong enough to make and stop raging storms just by flapping its wings, and the guardian of the skies, that flew all over Johto and left rainbows wherever it went! But one day, the Brass Tower was struck by lightning, and burned for three days before a rainstorm finally put it out...three Pokemon perished in the fire, but the Rainbow Pokemon left its perch from the Tin Tower to bring them back from the dead before it went off to search for a pure-hearted trainer worthy enough to show itself to. The other Pokemon stopped the rainstorm before going down to the bottom of the sea to rest...

Oh wow, that's... incredible. And sad....

[If there's one thing Elsa loves as much as architecture, it's old legends. So this place just sounds.... amazing.]

So that should be the next town we visit... [She's eying the map, and smiles.]

I do! She's been here longer than I have, so I suppose you could call her my guide. [Elsa laughs a little. To be fair, she only mentioned Anna a couple of times, so she won't fault him for not knowing....]

Ah, I understand.... Hel is like that too. As are some of my other friends. Perhaps once I locate the Pokemon Center, where Anna and I will be staying for now...?

[Which is one reason why she and Anna split up for the moment... cover more ground to find the place, and all.]

[Oh is this one of those FUTURE THINGS....]

But that's amazing, that you built all those things.... and did you do it all on your own? Or did other people help?

Cities in your world are bigger than this?

[SORRY LEON THAT ATTEMPT AT FLIRTING JUST FLIES STRAIGHT OVER HER HEAD IN FAVOR OF FOCUSING ON OTHER THINGS YOU MENTIONED that's what you get for trying to flirt with a sheltered nerd]

Oh, you wanna find the Pokémon Center? I know where that is! Follow me.

[And then, without bothering to wait for a response, he trots off in the direction of the Center. Careful not to lose him in the crowd, Elsa...]

Well, the Pokemon that were given new life are legends themselves now! From what I was told, they stand for the lightning bolt that started the fire, the fire itself, and the sudden downpour that put it out...the three Pokemon struck terror in the people that saw them rise, and fled all over. So even though it's a shame that the Brass Tower burned down, you can still visit what remains of it! Plenty of Pokemon and Trainers go there still. And it is where we're headed next...but first, we make a stop at the National Park, which is absolutely amazing and I can't wait to show it to you!

...Of course, one place at a time!

[Oh.]

Coding is... a computer is not, by itself, a smart machine. It needs code - instructions - to tell it... what to do and how to do it. Where I'm from, everything can be... manipulated with code using something called The Process. They are... a group of machines that carry out orders and changes. Even the sky and the weather can be changed using them.

[Elsa laughs.] Of course. If we just keep moving too fast like we did after stopping through Azalea Town, things might get.... a bit overwhelming.

[And not really in a good way.]

Oh, wow, you're in Goldenrod City now, Miss Elsa? [Might've dropped the "Queen" but still has to be polite!]

Well, Azalea was definitely a more quiet place...don't lie, though, you had fun climbing through the treetops and stuff with me! This city, though, I feel like we're gonna be here a while exploring through everything...there's so much to do and see and everything! And so many friends to make...

Oh-!

[Boy, she barely has a chance to respond before he takes off! And it's a little hard to keep up with him, since the people here don't seem to care whether they walk into people or not, and Elsa herself is trying her best to avoid touching anyone, but she manages. It does help when they have to stop at a crosswalk and wait for the cars to pass.]

That was terrifying, and I'm still not exactly sure how you got me to do those crazy things with you.

... But you're right. This city... it almost seems like it was designed just to grab your attention and distract you for as long as possible.

So it's almost like magic, but with these machines...?

Yes, I am! [Elsa smiles, happy to see that the girl's managing to be a little less formal.] Anna sets quite the pace for our travels, even I'm surprised at how much distanced we've crossed so far.

Hey, no big! [Henry waves a hand dismissively -- too dismissively, almost.] I was going there anyway, no need to thank me.

[Henry bounces a little as they wait, seemingly unable to keep still. As Elsa noticed, most people in Goldenrod don't care if they run into others, Henry included; it's really useful when he feels like pickpocketing.]
