[Elsa looks a lot more subdued than usual - especially compared to her last video - when she begins recording, staring out the window of the little apartment she and Anna had begun renting for their stay in Goldenrod. It's snowing, this time with no help from her, and she's just watching the flakes drift lazily past.]

I know this may sound like an odd question, but... how do you go about celebrating things you haven't really acknowledged in a very long time? Birthdays, holidays, things like that... It feels strange to just go ahead and do it and act like the lack of celebrations in years past never happened. Wrong, almost, to completely dismiss such a long amount of time like that.

It seems rather difficult to make a special event even more special. Does that make sense at all?

[She's not even thinking about her own upcoming birthday (on the 21st!) at all. But Christmas is coming up... the first Christmas in thirteen years that the sisters will be spending together. She wants Anna's first real Christmas since she was five to be perfect, or at least as perfect as Elsa can make it. She just... has no idea how to do that.]

And that's true. We haven't really talked about heading out, though. If I suddenly asked Anna to pack up and head out, she might get suspicious... and I want this to be a surprise, after all.

My birthday hasn't been a big event for me in a long time, and I'm okay with that. It's different from Christmas, which I still wanted to celebrate.

You thought about what you'd be getting her for Christmas yet? That's another way you could make it count. There's practically a store for everything out there, but you ever thought about making her a gift?

But it's your birthday, Elsa..! It's like Christmas! I mean, it only comes once a year...and I mean, maybe that's just because you haven't really had the chance to make it special! I'm sure if we do something for it this year, you'll come around!

A birthday that's only a few days away from Christmas. We can still celebrate and have fun on Christmas, so it's not that big of a deal, really!

I thought about it, yes. But without my magic, I'm afraid I don't really have any way to make her anything that I know will turn out well.

The shops have been quite chaotic the past few weeks, but I'll certainly do my best to brave them. I have some ideas... I just need to find the right person.

Ah, I see.... so it seems we're both stuck in the same boat, doesn't it?

... Oh, right. I forgot these things could do that. [A sigh.] And here I thought I was used to them by now...

So why can't we celebrate on your birthday, too? Just because they're close doesn't mean that one's not as important as the other! It's still a special day!

I wish I could make something. I'm not very good with making normal things, but if I had my magic...

[There's no end to the possibilities of what she could do for Anna if she had the ability to. But alas...]

Well, I don't. I guess that just means I'll have to put all that extra effort into searching, then. [At least she doesn't sound upset over it!]

Well, in that case, it's probably safe to assume that if she doesn't know of your plans already, she most likely will soon.

But, truth is, I'm still trying to figure out a present for Sora. So I guess we're in the same boat.

[Elsa lets out a rather defeated sigh and shakes her head, a small smile tugging at her mouth.]

That it's completely useless to fight against you, because you're too stubborn for your own good.

That may be, but things always work out for us in the end, don't they?

... Yeah, they do. I just hope that good luck never runs out.

I'm sure you'll find something! If she's got a favorite Pokémon then you can always find stuff with that on it. There's tons of Pokémon merchandise. For... obvious reasons, I guess.
