oh right! he likes white...and black...and green...and pink! i think those are the only colors ive seen him wear...but we could grow flower garlands for him! hopefully your plant magic comes in before then :)

Flower crowns that alternate between each of those colors all around... it sounds perfect. He also told me he loves warm things, so maybe we could find a nice sweater or two for him?

I hope so too. Now that I know I'm turning into the same thing you are... it's a little exciting? I think? There are still a lot of things I'm worried about, but... it seems like there are a lot of good things you can do as a nymph.

i know what you mean! i'm really excited that we're going to match! i think nymphs are some of the nicest monsters, because we can make people smile and maybe even help people with our magic! and i can help you even more as you figure out how to grow stuff!

I think that's one reason I'm not as scared as I could be if I was turning into something else. The... the bit about helping people. All I've ever wanted to do is help people. If I can do that easily as a nymph... I think I'll be okay with that.

I asked Lorna if she would help with the sweater part of it! she's good at making things look neat and beautiful so i know she'll make something perfect!!

and in the meantime i'll think of the perfect dessert we can make for him...maybe something warm, like a pudding???

i'm glad you're not so scared, Elsa. i was so worried when you came that you'd be too frightened to enjoy the nice things about this place.

Oh, I have no doubt Lorna will make something exquisite. From what she showed us when I first arrived, it's easy to tell that she has a true gift.

... Oh! What about some sort of fondue? We can warm up a big pot and try and find soft foods that would go well dipped in chocolate.

You're the only one I feel like I can say this to, but... I really am scared. A lot. Even more when it comes to the.... the less appealing nature of monsters here. It's terrifying knowing that I have to hurt people eventually, but seeing you as happy as you are... it makes me want to believe that I can handle it. somehow.

[It feels... weird, to be so open like that, even with Anna. Maybe it's because of how they're communicating? It's different, speaking to someone through words like this, and it's easier to hide just how badly you're feeling something you're talking about.]

Then meet me in the library in roughly an hour and a half.

Of course. I hope the rest of your work goes well.

[And Elsa will be waiting for him, in that same chair by the fire where he showed her the painting so soon after her arrival! She's already left notes for Anna and Lorna so they won't have to worry about either of them, so they'll be able to head out whenever he returns.]

[Anna feels her heart grow a little heavy as she reads Elsa's next words. She hadn't realized...]

Elsa, i'm so sorry...I shouldnt havbe assumed that everything was just fine
its okay to be scared! i was scared too when i first got here
just know that ill be right behind you every step of the way, okay?

No no, it's okay. I... I know I still have trouble talking about this sort of thing. Even knowing that everyone else goes through similar experiences, it's difficult.

But you... I can't tell you how much it means to me that you'll be here for me this time around.

[But even then, it's worrying... the last thing she wants to do is hurt Anna, and if something bad happens when she gets less pleasant changes, she's not sure if she'd be able to forgive herself. She still hasn't, after those other times she hurt Anna...]

[ Rohan returns right when he noted that he would; not a moment too late or too soon. Right on time. He slithers into the library, lips quirking at their corners when he sees the young lady propped up in her spot. ]

Wonderful. I am so glad that you wish to see my other home. [ His real one is here. He can FINALLY say that. ] Come over here, would you? [ He waves to her with one hand while the other fishes through his sweater and pulls out his key. The disembodied whispers behind his voice grow all excited and the curls of Fog and wisps of his cape flutter in anticipation of where they are going. ]

We just need to go through this door...

[ As in the one he just slithered through... The library door that he has shut and now sticks the key into. When it opens, Fog spills forth in a rolling sheet. It no longer leads to the hallway. But somewhere else entirely. ]

I hope you know that it's the same the other way around, too. The... the helping thing, I mean. I hope you can come to me if you ever need anything, even if I know much less about this land and how things work than you do.

[Elsa can't lie, it's... a little unnerving? The whispers and the fog and all. She's still not sure she feels very comfortable with either of the gods of this land, but her doubts certainly don't extend to their people. Rohan has been nothing but kind to her, looked after her sister when Elsa was unable to... she has no reason to mistrust him, even if all of this looks a bit odd, so she'll stand and wait patiently, without any sort of hesitation in her expression.

In fact, once she puts the fog aside, she actually looks curious as the door opens.]

Amazing... I've never heart of magic like this before. [A pause, then she realizes he's holding the door open for her. Whoops! She'll just... head right on through.] Is this some sort of magic you can do, or is it all from that key?
