Seventh Flake [Video/Action for Ecruteak]

[For the first time in a few months now, the scenary in Elsa's video is no longer a small, cozy apartment or the towering skyscrapers of Goldenrod City; instead, the smaller and more elegant-looking buildings of Ecruteak City surround the young woman.]

To those of you who said I'd enjoy Ecruteak City as much as Goldenrod... well. You were right! [She lets out a soft laugh.] This place... it has such a different feel to it than the other towns and cities we've been to so far.

[She takes a deep breath before letting it out slowly, shivering slightly. Geez, it's still a little cold out...]

Anna mentioned that many of the myths of Johto originated in this town. Maybe that has something to do with it.

[And she can't wait to learn all about them!

Oh, but speaking of Anna....]

Elsa, Elsa..!

[It looks like Anna's causing more than a bit of a ruckus in the background; she's trying her hardest to keep the precious cargo in her hands balanced as she comes into view of the camera with a whopping seven different eggs! Anna, being the clumsy girl she is, has to try her hardest not to fall...]

Look at all of these eggs! Isn't it awesome?! Odin and Frigga had triplets! And Idun and Freya had them, too! Even Skadi! I never thought that our Pokemon would actually have eggs together! But the Ralts are probably gonna be like SUPER Ral--Woah...!

[She has to make an effort not to let one of the eggs she's showing off wobble and hit the floor, but, to her credit, she's handling it decently enough... Must be all of that waitressing!]

If you know anyone that wants one, you should tell them that we have a whole bunch!! Oh, but they have to promise to take good care of them!

[... Elsa, who had almost dropped her PokeGear when Anna came stumbling into view with the eggs, and very nearly dropped it again when Anna nearly lost her hold on them, just. Stares in shock.]

I... w-what...

[She. No. She's not gunna think about how this could've happened when they'd been traveling nonstop for almost a week now. Nope not gunna think about it she doesn't wanna know.

... Still. When the shock wears off, she does look rather happy when she finally turns her focus back towards her pokegear.]

W-Well then. You heard my sister. Looks like we need to find a few homes for these little ones...!

[ Naminé's interest is piqued, to say the least. She's still getting used to, well, everything, but the mention of eggs catches her attention especially. ]

Ah... there are so many.

Not for us, no. I've been here for several months now, and this is the first time it's happened with any of our Pokemon.

[shatterings]

[ Naminé takes in the amount of eggs, and-- ]

It seems they were... very, um... energetic.

[Lightning knows this woman. Though she hadn't exactly introduced herself to Lightning.]

That looks like quite a batch.

I just can't believe they were all laid on the same day...

[All their pokemon are just messing with them, aren't they?]

I guess some pokemon can just sense the upcoming change in the seasons.

I have a feeling that's not all of it...

[One of those eggs has caught her interest. But she'll stay quiet about it for now.]

Well, no, of course not.

[Elsa actually laughs.] I honestly can't say I'm too surprised, with Odin and Frigga. They're, well... they've been a bit of a lovey-dovey pair since Anna and I first caught them as Ralts. Now that they're both fully evolved... I suppose it was all just a matter of time until this happened.

[When she hears Odin, her heart stops for a moment. It's the second time since she's watched this post, and it makes her sad to hear that name.]

They seem to have a mind of their own... You said these eggs needed good home?

There's so many! How many eggs can you expect in a clutch, exactly? [His eyes have gotten a little wide. Babies!]

I'm not sure, really. This is the first time this has happened with any of our pokemon!

[She doesn't sound worried, though! She sounds a bit excited, if anything.] But I've seen other people whose pokemon laid much larger clutches than the ones we have here, so perhaps these are on the small side.

Wow, there are bigger ones even than this, huh? I guess I should count myself lucky there's no chance of any surprises right now, considering the fact that Tesla can't reproduce asexually....at least, as far as I know he can't. Still, you should be proud! Your Pokemon clearly get along really well!

[defyingfrigidity]

As proud as I can be. I always knew they got along, and I knew that Frigga and Odin care a lot about each other, but... there's something very heartwarming, knowing that they get along this much.

[.... It's also a little weird thinking about her companions doing what needs to be done to produce eggs, but she won't say that out loud.]

Frigga and Odin, huh? Norse mythology?

I hope all my Pokemon will get along that way. I haven't actually caught a second Pokemon yet, so I have no idea what the dynamics will be like.

Hi, Anna! [Clover, sitting in a Pokémon Center with one of her too-many Munna sitting on her head, waves brightly at the camera.] Tell her Clover says hi.

That's a lot of eggs, though! Anything cute?

[Oh! A friend of Anna's? Great! Elsa passes the message along before turning her attention back to her gear.]

I think they're all pretty cute. [By now she's had a good look at the eggs, and noticed that she missed one before...] We have a few Ralts eggs, a Dratini egg, a Lapras egg, an Amaura egg, aaaand a Gible egg. That I... actually didn't notice before! That was a real surprise.

[Although that was not what her gaze was on, no. Her eyes were on the buildings in the background.]

Wow... those buildings...

I know, right?

There were buildings similar to this in Azalea Town, but we passed through that town so quickly I never really got a chance to check it out.

Oh, yeah, I noticed those.

[She had to go through Azalea several times. She hadn't paid the buildings much mind until now.]

It's weird.... I've seen styles like that back home.

Really? Just... similar styles, or this exact style?

Snakes? No, I'm afraid not. The closest thing we have to a snake is my Dragonair, but someone already asked for that egg.

He already has one, says Zola! [He speaks in a higher pitch as he quotes his pokèmon as he does his best to mimic her voice. Zola, A dragonair, hovers into the screen, making a gentle cry with eyes happily shut as she nuzzles Snake.]

[defyingfrigidity]

[There's an answering cry off-screen, and a moment later, the pinkish-purple head of Elsa's shiny dragonair pops up over her shoulder, staring curiously into the screen. Elsa laughs, patting Idunn on the head, before continuing to speak.]

I'm sorry I can't help you. But if I see any snakelike pokemon on my travels, I'll see what I can do.
