[It's snowing in Olivine City! Or, well. In an area of the beach a bit away from the city, that is. DETAILS. While not an odd sight if you're training a pokemon, the snow isn't coming from a pokemon; it's coming from the fair-haired young lady standing in the midst of the snowfall, arms sweeping back and forth as the flurries blow this way and that.

Most of her pokemon look on passively, having seen this display once before, months ago. But still they play! The ones who weren't around for the last show of Elsa's power are jumping about much more eagerly, rolling about in the drifts or happily snapping or swatting at the falling flakes.

Elsa herself, on the other hand, simply laughs and watches, flicking bits of snow at her companions every so often. She doesn't even seem to mind that Frigga grabbed her gear and is filming all of this right now.]

Perfect timing, isn't it? With how warm it's been, I'm glad I could help all of you cool off for a bit!

He must be a very good reminder, then.

[ Naminé nods, mostly to herself. Many of her good memories haven't come from before this place. ]

I've never encountered magic like this... [ She's still completely in awe of Elsa--most of the magic she's seen is destructive or healing. Nothing like this. ]

... Really? What sort of magic are you familiar with, then?

[shatterings]

Well... I suppose that wasn't the best way to put it. [ Pause. ] It's more like... I've never seen anyone use magic in this way.

[defyingfrigidity]

[That... certainly has a sort of ominous feel to it, doesn't it?]

How do you normally see magic being used?

[shatterings]

Well... either to destroy things, or... heal others.

[ Mostly to destroy things. ]

[defyingfrigidity]

Such extreme opposites.... it must have been difficult, living in a land like that.

[shatterings]

It... wasn't as difficult as it was for some of my friends.

[ Downplaying her experiences? nahhhh. ]

[defyingfrigidity]

[... Oh. Well. That... kind of has some sad implications...]

[shatterings]

[ She's a little perplexed about the apology; Naminé blinks, then shakes her head. ]

Oh-- you don't need to apologize, Elsa. I... should be the one apologizing. For darkening the mood.

No, no, it's fine! I was the one prodding, after all...

[shatterings]

I don't think you were, really... and if I hadn't wanted to tell you, I wouldn't have done just that.

[ It's a little embarrassing to admit, actually... but Naminé does feel at ease around Elsa. ]

I... I'm glad you trust me enough with such matters, then. It truly means a lot.

[shatterings]

[ Naminé looks visibly surprised at that, but she... actually looks very happy about that, once the shock wears off. ]

I'm glad you think so, Elsa. [ Pause. ] If... you ever would like to confide in me for any reason, I would be more than happy to listen. Um, if you want to.

[ Because Naminé wants to be friends with her--she feels a sort of connection to Elsa, and she likes being around her and talking to her. It's nice. ]

... Thank you. I'm afraid I'm not really used to... confiding in people like that, but I'll be sure to keep your offer in mind, Namine.

[shatterings]

It's okay. I don't mind. [ She lets out a little smile, folding her hands in front of her. ]

So, um... how are all of your Pokémon doing? They seem to be enjoying the day.

[ Giving small talk a try, sure. ]

[SMALL TALK WILL NEVER NOT BE AWKWARD BUT HEY ANYTHING TO ESCAPE EVEN MORE AWKWARD STUFF]

Oh, they love it. It's quite funny, really... many of them can make snow and ice themselves, and yet they seem so awed when I do it....

[shatterings]

Maybe... they've never seen a human do it?

[defyingfrigidity]

Hm.... I suppose that would throw them off a bit. Still, after seeing all they can possibly do... a human with their powers seems like it wouldn't be all that odd.

[shatterings]

Well... it might be like with us? Seeing other pokémon doing extraordinary things might be normal for them, but seeing a human with extraordinary powers would be something different.

[ It makes sense to her, at least. ]

[defyingfrigidity]

Hm... you do have a point there.

I suppose it's nothing to worry about either way, though. They seemed happy when I showed them what I could do, so that's all that really matters, I suppose.

[shatterings]

Mm. As long as they're happy... and they certainly seem to really love you, Elsa.

[defyingfrigidity]

They do, don't they?

[Elsa laughs, blushing a bit.]

Which is a bit funny, because I've never taken care of any sort of animal before I arrived here. I had no idea what I was doing for a while.

[shatterings]

Neither did I... I've never had any sort of pet before.

[ She attributes how easy it is to raise them to the level of intelligence the Pokémon have. ]

I think you're doing just fine.

[defyingfrigidity]

Only because I've had so much help. I wouldn't know half of the things I knew now if it wasn't for Anna and the others helping me out.

[shatterings]

Mm. I think so, too. I'm glad we had such helpful family.
