[This is new: a post from Elsa not in video. Normally she tries to use it as often as she can, since it helps her with talking to people without the intimidation of being face-to-face in person. But she's feeling kind of... not quite upset, but not like herself today. She'd rather not let that bleed into the video and audio, so for now, text it is.]

I just noticed the anniversary of a very important event in my life is almost here. The thing itself wasn't so bad - it was certainly something to celebrate at least - but the events that happened during and after it... they were more than a bit terrible.

[Yeah she's being kind of vague here. But only because she hasn't really told anyone about the whole "Eternal Winter" thing. And she's.... still somewhat afraid to. People know about what happened with Anna, yes, but if they knew she'd almost sentenced her entire kingdom to an eternal winter of suffering... would they act different towards her then?]

Even so, I... look back somewhat fondly on those days, despite the bad things that happened. Because even though bad things happened, a lot of good came out of it in the end.

Still... is that odd?

Of course! There's only one thing I regret more in my life than what I did.

But a person can greatly regret something and others still won't forgive them for it. And they can still be cautious around that person...

Has the person forgiven you?

Then that's on them. Those are the type of people you don't need in your life! They'll drag you down and hurt you. If they can't forgive you for something you're sorry for, they don't see you as a real person. You're just a commodity.

[Just like her fans who were upset she quit being an idol. The loyal fans are the ones she was happy that they embraced her again in her return.]

I'm the queen of my kingdom. The common people... if they're still angry or upset at me over what I did, I can't just ignore them like that.

Have they come to you and told you they were upset or angry?

No, but that could also be because the people they must go through before they can speak to me directly might be handling their grievances instead.

Then how about you have some days where the people can speak to you directly? It shows them you car even more!

That might be a good idea. At the very least, I could see if the council is all right with letting my sister handle that, if I won't be able to...

You're the one in charge! You can just tell them you want to do it! A queen has ultimate power, after all. And if they say 'no', do it anyways!

That's... not a good idea, as good as your intentions are. I hold the most power in the land, yes, but if I show that I'm not willing to listen to the people who are supposed to help me, well...

That might just make things worse.

Wow. You should take a note from other queens. Queen Elizabeth the first let no man tell her what to do, and her council listened to everything she said. She was a really mighty ruler, and her people loved her! She even beat Spain!

And then there's other queens, like Cleopatra! There's a lot, really.

I doubt all those other queens had magical abilities that could affect entire kingdoms, though. If people saw a queen like that ignoring those trying to help her, then that might make things them even more likely to be suspicious.

... Or it might just make them scared, which is something I don't want at all.

No, but that didn't stop them from being great rulers.

Sounds like your council is made up of old grumpy men. If they don't let you talk to your people face to face, then there's something going on they either think you can't handle or they're trying to cover up.

If they think you can't handle it, not asking them just shows them they're right! How can you make sure your people like you if you let them hide you?
