[ For what it all is, Rohan's new fixins haven't impeded on his personality all that much. He can become eerily placid but there is no real threatening vibes that come off of him. ]

This key can turn any door into one that leads to Dyster. Mine leads directly to the mansion. It works this way in the Church too. [ Rohan ends his sentence by slipping through the doorway and into the wall of Fog.

What Elsa will see when she eventually follows with him is a front room like any other-- furniture, a fireplace burning with green embers which looks to have been set up to look like a shrine decorated with bones, teeth, and scales. Everything is black and white like that of coming panels. Even the paintings on the walls are grayscale. It has a certain lack of liveliness to it. ]

Make yourself comfortable. I have an upstairs and a basement too. She made sure that everything was perfect.

[... Once again, a little unnerving with all the bones and such around the fireplace, but not enough to make Elsa skittish. In fact, she gets a bit closer, holding out her hand towards the fireplace. Such an odd color for fire... does it still burn hot, or cold...?]

I must admit, I'm a little surprised. [Her tone is light, amused even.] You're someone who has quite a sense of flair... to see such monochrome tones is a bit shocking.

[ The fire itself burns rather cool for right now. Should he throw something into it or start "talking" to it, it will grow hot. It shouldn't feel much warmer to Elsa than a cooling tea kettle. ]

I am pleased to see that you like it so. [ He smiles in that subtle Rohan way that he does-- not too obvious, but just enough. Warm like the fire in the fireplace. He lets a pause fall between them.

I want you to know that Anna is forever free from harm. The Fog God granted her instant rejuvenation if anything should ever happen to her.

She will show up right here without a scratch due to Her protection.

[Elsa may not have known Rohan as long as Anna and Lorna have, but there are some things she's gotten used to. The way he smiles like that is one of them, and she can't help but smile the same way in return. She may have a lot of misgivings about the gods of this land, but Rohan... she trusts him, and that's enough for her to push away those misgivings for now.]

I hope she'll never be put into a situation where such a thing would be necessary. I've always tried my hardest to protect her, but in a land such as this... [Her smile fades a bit as she looks down at her hands; her green claw-tipped hands.] Even taking my new self into account, I don't know if I can.

[And that scares her more than anything. But she can't let that show right now, so she just shakes her head and tries to force that smile back on her face.]

... It means a lot to me, truly, that you care about Anna to the point where you ask your God to protect her. I... I know that's simply what friends do, but if there's anything I can do to repay you for that gift...

ive been thinking a lot because of this whole weird thing with the plants everywhere
well actually
ive been thinking about it for awhile
but i helped a girl the other day in the cafe by making a salve for her burns and it got me thinking
maybe you and i could work together and help even more people!
we could even....i don't know
start some kind of apothecary???

There was a man on the network not long before this strange plant incident took place asking for an apothecary, but it didn't seem like anyone knew of any.
I know the doctors here do quite a good job taking care of people when they can, but it seems like an apothecary might still be quite useful.

I ran into someone I'm familiar with, but I wasn't able to do much other than calm down the plants growing on her arm...

i spoke to someone who thought it would be a good idea too!! a while back. ive been thinking about it since then, but now more than ever i think it would be a good idea!
after all, it might be nice for people to have a different way of taking care of themselves that's not as expensive as the doctor
and doctors might not know how to treat every kind of monster!!

Yes, exactly. And there might be some people from times similar to our own that might not feel comfortable with the way doctors from these times work. Something like an apothecary might be... a bit more familiar for them. More comfortable, maybe?

Hmm.
That might be a good idea. We can set aside an area of the garden at home for anything we plan to grow, and bring it with us to the cafe before we open. That way we we won't need too much more space; just enough to display all the herbs and such.

[Anna's excitement, even if just over text like this, is pretty infectious!! And Elsa definitely considers it a good thing to be thinking so far ahead if their goal is to help people.]

She does, yes. I met her when I first arrived here, and I think it helped quite a bit, meeting someone like that

They can grow them, or the stones grow rapidly on them....
