[For once, when the 'gear flickers on, it doesn't show a hopelessly confused or concerned Elsa. This is good!! Very good.

Instead, there's a great look of excitement on the former queen's face. On her shoulder, a Kirlia clings to her shirt, eyes wide in the slats between its little helmet, mirroring its trainer's expression perfectly. Behind them, the massive buildings and skyscrapers of Goldenrod City can be seen, windows glinting in the afternoon sun.]

This is amazing! Don't you think so, Frigga?

[For someone who normally tries to stay as reserved as she possibly can while communicating over these devices, the sound of such unbridled wonder in her voice may be a bit of a change to hear.]

I didn't know buildings could get this tall... I've read about great castles and palaces in books and such, but I've never heard of anything as tall as this. [She smiles, turning to Frigga.] It sure is something, isn't it?

[Frigga smiles and nods, making a happy noise. Elsa then turns back to the gear.]

Are a lot of cities in this land this... big? Violet and Azalea were both decent enough, but they're nowhere near as extravagant as this city!

[There's a pause, then Elsa looks somewhat sheepish as she realizes just how excited she was just acting. O-Oh dear, and so many people saw...]

I'm sorry if I sound rather.... eager. But things like this... buildings and architecture and such... I've always had a fascination with them. And structures like this never got this big in Arendelle...

Are there more cities like this? Ones with interesting or unique architecture? [Boy, she sure does seem pretty darn eager...] Even if they're not anything like this... I'd like to know what cities to look forward to visiting!

[Oh Elsa, your inner nerd is shining through so beautifully...]

The caves at Mount Moon. They look imposing, but they aren't, and it's worth the exploration.

Your sister is with you? That must be nice for you.

Mount Moon... that's where those creatures called "Clefairy" live, correct? My sister's been wanting one for as long as I've been here, so we might just have to go there, if she doesn't have one by then...

[At that question, Elsa's smile softens.] It is... I can't imagine what sort of state I'd be in right now if she wasn't here with me. It certainly wouldn't be anything good, I can say that at least.

Yes, deep in the caves. They're shy, but friendly.

I wonder why some of us are allowed the blessing of friends and family here with us, and some aren't. You two are close, I take it?

There isn't really any sort of pattern to who comes and goes, is there? Not that I've been able to see, at least.

[Elsa feels sort of bad, talking about the person she's close to being here while others are clearly missing the ones close to them, b-but people ask, so...]

Yes, I suppose we are. For a long time we unfortunately weren't, due to... certain circumstances. But things have been changing a lot lately, for the better.

No, there doesn't seem to be. Groups, pairs, single individuals...there's no rhyme or reason to it.

Yes, I could tell. Is there much of an age difference between you?

That's horrible.... everyone deserves to have a familiar face in a strange land like this, I think...

Oh no, not much at all. There are only three years between us; she's eighteen, and I'm twenty-one.

[Though wait. If it's November here, then would that make Anna nineteen....?]

[There are some that Lust would be perfectly happen to abandon alone in a strange world.]

But I understand what you mean. I was lucky enough that my...brother was already here. We're not biologically related.

[But in a literal sense, they had been raised by the same woman.]

He's much older. I'm your age.

If they have loved ones, and they miss them greatly... it's not really my place to say no, is it? It would be cruel to say "no, you're not allowed to see this person you care about and have missed for a long time."

[After all, she was told for most of her life that she can't see one of the people she cared about the most... nobody should suffer through that kind of pain.]

Oh, really? [She lets out a small laugh.] I can't imagine how different it would be, being the younger sibling...

One might argue that truly cruel people deserve cruelty visited back on them.

[Lust can never resist an opportunity for amiable philosophical debate.]

I suppose it's much different, being the one that was looked after rather than the one doing the looking.

Perhaps... [It's a hard subject for her. After all, she'd dealt with Hans; he was a terrible man, and she'd seethed with rage to the point where she'd caused a minor blizzard in her room when Anna had told her what exactly had happened between them. She hated him as much as she could ever hate a person.... but that didn't mean she wished cruelty on him. She just wasn't that kind of person.] But even so. Keeping people away from those who they care about above all else... that's a different kind of cruelty I wouldn't wish on anyone.

[Boy this conversation is getting heavy, huh? Still, she wants to keep it from going to completely horrible places, so she laughs a little at Lust's other comment.]

Those aren't necessarily roles confined to one or the other. I may be the older one, but I think Anna takes care of me more than I do with her. Here, especially, where she knows how to live out on the road a bit better than I do.

You must have a very kind heart.

[Lust laughs a bit.]

There's a saying where I come from, that older siblings are born first to take care of the younger. My brother practically raised me. He has much more life experience than I do - and he was here years before I came.

You're travelling, then?

[Elsa flushes a bit at the compliment, but doesn't say anything. She doesn't completely agree, but she knows from dealing with Anna that arguing that point is sort of useless.]

... That's a very nice saying. Something I can certainly take to heart.

[Even if she didn't do a very good job of it for most of their lives, all Elsa ever wanted to do was protect Anna...]

And yes! We are. She's very set on collecting all the badges from the gyms in this land, so we've slowly been making our way from city to city.
