Fifth Flake [video/action for Goldenrod/4th Wall]
[When Elsa woke up today, she had known something was... different. There was a feeling inside of her that she hasn't felt in months now, a feeling she thought she'd never miss as badly as she did; the familiar him of magic was buzzing under her skin for the first time since she arrived in this land, and instead of dreading that feeling... Elsa smiles. Gathering her things, and without waiting up for Anna, she leaves the Pokemon Center, heading to the north end of Goldenrod, where she knew a small park was, not far from the gates of the city.]
Alright... time to wake up, everyone. I've got something to show you!
[With a quick toss, Elsa releases her team - Snowball, Skadi, Freya, Frigga, Idunn, and Surtr. All of them look curious and eager at Elsa's words, and while Elsa sets her bag down and looks around to make sure that there's nobody in the immediate vicinity, Surtr grabs her pokegear and pokes at it until it turns on.]
Okay... ready?
[After a chorus of agreements from her pokemon, Elsa grins, takes a deep breath, and raises her arms.
For those watching in person, they might notice the weather dropping, even more from its already chilly state. And when snow suddenly appears surrounding Elsa and her little group, it might not seem like too much... except none of her ice-types are moving. In fact, they all look quite surprised.
With a flick of her wrists, Elsa commands the snow to swirl around her in a light flurry. Her smile brightens as another twist of her wrist sends the flurry outward, the flakes multiplying until the ground surrounding Elsa is covered in several inches of snow.
Elsa is grinning like a child now. Just one more test to see if she really does have control after this long... it takes a bit of focus, but she wills the snow to move and shape itself, to breathe, and before the eyes of her pokemon (and human) onlookers, an icy replica of a Charizard - not just a Charizard, but the strange new form Nova had taken in the battle against Archie - spreads its wings and lets out a roar as clear as the real thing..]
Even after all this time, after being so out of practice... I can still control it.
[She looks absolutely overjoyed. Like nothing in the world can bring down her good mood. And her pokemon sure seem to share her enthusiasm, judging by how most of them immediately leap into the little snow drifts surrounding them.]

That's a pretty cool talent you have there!
['Cool'. That was a terrible pun.]
no subject
O-Oh! Ah... [And suddenly she feels self-conscious again. It was one thing to talk about her power with the people she's met here, but when they actually see it...] T-Thank you.

[He concentrates for a moment and holds out his hand, the temperature dropping even further for a moment. He looks quite comfortable in it, though. There's a small crackling noise, and there's suddenly a raven carved out of ice in his hand.]
no subject
[She trails off as she watches the raven form in his hand, looking more surprised than someone who was just doing exactly the same thing he did should probably look.]
Oh... wow. I knew there were other people here who could use magic, but actually seeing someone else do something like that....
no subject
[He glances over at the Pokemon and... yeah. He kind of would have noticed if his world got Pokemon.]
no subject
It's not, no. But don't worry, you're safe here.
no subject
[Admittedly it takes some energy, but... still.]
I think it's a nice break, really!

no subject
[... But he's curious. And he can kind of tell, but...]
This might sound weird but you're... one of your parents isn't some kind of deity, are they? Children of the gods are the only ones who can do stuff like that at home. I guess maybe mages can, but... I haven't seen any who can.
[Then again he doesn't know that much about mages, really.]
no subject
Unless my parents were hiding some pretty important secrets from me... no, they were both very mortal. I'm the only one in my family that has ever been able to do anything like this.
no subject
Huh. Oh well. We're definitely from different worlds, then.
[... Oh right manners!]
My name's Casper, by the way. What's yours?
[His full name is a little bit of a mouthful so he'll just... skip that.]
no subject
A pleasure to meet you, Casper. [She inclines her head in a small bow.] My name is Elsa.
no subject
Aside from 'rule of funny'.]It's nice to meet you too.
[His Froslass pushes forward and curtseys to Elsa. He laughs a little.]
I think she's glad to meet you, too. Uh... whatever she is...
no subject
What you have there is a Froslass. [She motions towards Snowball.] When these creatures are exposed to a certain kind of stone, they'll evolve into one like your friend here.
no subject
... Huh. That's kind of cool. I know there was a game with things like these, but... I never thought I'd see them in person.
[He only played them casually. It was kind of hard to stay interested when there was no one to battle... or trade with... being unpopular kind of sucked.]
An... ice type, I'm guessing?
no subject
You'd be correct. I've heard it's not a very common type... which is a shame, really. [She turns to look at all her others. Skadi the Amaura, Freya the Lapras, and Snowball...] They're not at all like what one might assume creatures of ice seem to be. All the ones I've seen have been a very friendly bunch.
no subject
[... Maybe he shouldn't have said that. Oh well.]
It really is a shame that they're rare, though I guess maybe they just can't deal with warmer temperatures that well.
no subject
[She raises an eyebrow, then, when something he said clicks...]
... The trolls you know are made of ice? Hm. Where I come from, they're made of stone.
no subject
[He's still not sure if trolls totally fit under titanspawn but they sure act like they do.]
no subject
[Entire worlds separate them, but their stories remain similar... interesting indeed.]
no subject
You know about jotunn? ... Where in the world are you from?
no subject
A small kingdom called Arendelle, in the north of Europe.
no subject
So uh... do the Norse gods... are they a thing where you're from?
[He's guessing based on the names, but.]
no subject
I've never seen these gods and goddesses with my own eyes. But I won't say they don't exist, because for all I know, I might be wrong.
no subject
[Uh. Yeah.]
