Fifth Flake [video/action for Goldenrod/4th Wall]
[When Elsa woke up today, she had known something was... different. There was a feeling inside of her that she hasn't felt in months now, a feeling she thought she'd never miss as badly as she did; the familiar him of magic was buzzing under her skin for the first time since she arrived in this land, and instead of dreading that feeling... Elsa smiles. Gathering her things, and without waiting up for Anna, she leaves the Pokemon Center, heading to the north end of Goldenrod, where she knew a small park was, not far from the gates of the city.]
Alright... time to wake up, everyone. I've got something to show you!
[With a quick toss, Elsa releases her team - Snowball, Skadi, Freya, Frigga, Idunn, and Surtr. All of them look curious and eager at Elsa's words, and while Elsa sets her bag down and looks around to make sure that there's nobody in the immediate vicinity, Surtr grabs her pokegear and pokes at it until it turns on.]
Okay... ready?
[After a chorus of agreements from her pokemon, Elsa grins, takes a deep breath, and raises her arms.
For those watching in person, they might notice the weather dropping, even more from its already chilly state. And when snow suddenly appears surrounding Elsa and her little group, it might not seem like too much... except none of her ice-types are moving. In fact, they all look quite surprised.
With a flick of her wrists, Elsa commands the snow to swirl around her in a light flurry. Her smile brightens as another twist of her wrist sends the flurry outward, the flakes multiplying until the ground surrounding Elsa is covered in several inches of snow.
Elsa is grinning like a child now. Just one more test to see if she really does have control after this long... it takes a bit of focus, but she wills the snow to move and shape itself, to breathe, and before the eyes of her pokemon (and human) onlookers, an icy replica of a Charizard - not just a Charizard, but the strange new form Nova had taken in the battle against Archie - spreads its wings and lets out a roar as clear as the real thing..]
Even after all this time, after being so out of practice... I can still control it.
[She looks absolutely overjoyed. Like nothing in the world can bring down her good mood. And her pokemon sure seem to share her enthusiasm, judging by how most of them immediately leap into the little snow drifts surrounding them.]

That's a pretty cool talent you have there!
['Cool'. That was a terrible pun.]

O-Oh! Ah... [And suddenly she feels self-conscious again. It was one thing to talk about her power with the people she's met here, but when they actually see it...] T-Thank you.

Watching her work, though, one wouldn't think that she lost them for a second; she's moving so naturally and controlling the snow with such fluidity that it's like she's been doing this sort of thing for years and years, and the icing on the cake is just how happy Elsa looks when she does it. Anna doesn't remember it consciously, but somewhere in the back of her mind, she knows that smile of Elsa's; it's the same enthusiastic smile she used to have when they were just kids playing with ice in the middle of the ballroom in their castle...and seeing that smile again, knowing that for so long her sister's thought of these beautiful, beautiful powers of hers as a curse, is almost enough to bring a tear to Anna's eye. But it doesn't, because she's too busy packing the snow into a little ball...and chucking it right at her sister's back.]

Spinning around to see just who her attacker is, her look of surprise quickly melts into a grin, and her eyes narrow playfully.]
Anna, I don't think that was such a good idea.

[Did you want an elderly blue man carrying a Delibird under one arm and looking like Christmas has come early, Elsa? Of course you did.]
Is there a connection going on here, I think there is!
no subject
... Er... a connection?
[Oh sure she's normally ecstatic to meet other people who can do what she does! But there is a feeling of dread hanging over her right now....]
lol couldn't resist action 5ever
To run into Elsa or to experience a sudden drop in temperature.
It doesn't...scare her, no, Botan doesn't usually get ruffled by sudden changes, and besides--her little Smoochum looks so delighted by all the snow she can't be bothered by it. No, what actually surprises her is seeing Elsa control the flurry, even to shaping life in this manner, it's...
Awe-inspiring, really. She had no idea that the woman who expressed such concern for the little Phantump and shyly blushed at being called "adorable" commanded all that power, so effortlessly.
Well...no, it certainly couldn't have been without effort. A clue that this might be why she seems to wracked with anxiety occurs to her.
And that she's been standing too long and just staring at the whole thing instead of saying hi, rude Botan.]
That's...that's incredible. [Elsa was human, she was sure of this, but power like that was comparable to the ice maidens of the Demon World.] You're amazing, Elsa.
h e h
So she turns, looking a little flustered at the compliment, and a little more flustered at the fact that it's the SAME PERSON that made her feel flustered like last time.]
Thank you. I wasn't sure if I could do something like this, after so long...

[Not even stuffy Veronica could hold in the sense of wonder she was feeling at the sight of Elsa's powers. It wasn't everyday, even in her own world, that she experienced something like that.
Because it wasn't science. It was magic.]
That... is that magic?
no subject
Yes, it is.
[She's not scared to admit it anymore. Nervous? Yes, of course. She manages to hide it well, but it's hidden under a bit of pride now. It always helps Elsa's nervousness when she can see the awe on people's faces when they see what she could do.]

[Because as nice as this is, he has people to help back with the Inquisition.]
no subject
A-A mage? [Huh... she never really thought to label herself like that... Well. There were times that she'd so harshly call herself a monster, but that was different.] I... suppose I am.
And of course I can see you. Why wouldn't I?

[Right into a snowstorm. Whoops.]
[Henry knows that whoever is doing this probably doesn't want to hurt him, but he pulls up a small cyclone of wind magic around himself to deflect the snow. He can't control water or ice, necessarily, but he does know how to work wind -- and that's just as good, right? The wind picks up speed slowly, pulling more and more snow into its control... and then simply stops, letting the flakes drift off wherever. Hopefully, Elsa's noticed him by now.]

[Gosh, Elsa doesn't think she'll ever get used to the enthusiasm people express when they see her powers...!]
I'm sorry, something like this can't be taught. I was born with this magic.

[The snake charmer looks on with wonder at the beautiful display. His pokèmon aren't too fond of the snow and cold, but he's noticed that they are a lot more resilient than his snakes back home when it comes to cold weather. With that knowledge he is even more amazed at the display, wishing he could be there to see it in person.]

Oh... hello.
(I think I originally meant via pokègear, but I like in person better, and he is in Goldenrod)

Korra, having stared at the full show in amazement and having her jaw dropped at the Charizard, is trying to follow her. But uh, she's kind of slower than a giant dog.]
Naga!! ...Wait!
[ uhhh, Naga please. You can't just run to play in the snow, when there's a girl with ice powers in that same direction. ]
Don't worry, she's friendly! [If she can hear her, even... Naga sure isn't listening right now, gee thanks best friend, giving a good first impression here.]
no subject
[Thanks to being around Johto for a few months, Elsa isn't exactly alarmed by the giant dog diving into the snow. Surprised, yes, and startled enough that the snow bursts about in a fit of flurries, but... not alarmed.]
W-Well, hello there!
[... Aaaand the dog is ignoring her. But her pokemon seem to be happy to have a new friend suddenly appear, so.... that's good, right?]
