[Normally, Elsa doesn't care for making text posts. Video helps her be more open people, and even after over a year here, she could always use more help with that! But there are still rare occasions where she just... doesn't trust her emotions to stay under control. So text it is for those days.]
For those of you who have been here for quite a while now:
Is there... any good way to cope with people from other worlds leaving?
I know that, when people from your own world leave, you can be comforted in the fact that you'll see them again when you return home.
But... what about those from other worlds?
They're gone, and unless you remain here for long enough that you return, you'll never see them again.
And if they're important to you, just as much as the people from your own world...
How can you get over the disappearance of someone like that?

And I know everyone experiences these things differently, but...
I wish I knew how long it will be until things get better.
... The person who disappeared was Asami Sato. Did you know her, by any chance?
[Text]
It sounds familiar, I think I talked to her at least a couple times.
she was the inventor, right?
[Text]
She was - is - an amazing, extremely kind woman.

I'm sorry you're going through this.
if it helps any, I've been here... a VERY long time.
And I can say with some authority that even if they may never be here the same way they used to be, if you really love somebody, chances are you'll see them again, one way or another.
[Text]
But... wouldn't it be worse? If someone you love came back, but they're completely different and they don't remember you?
[Text]
[But that's beside the fact.]
Well, I won't lie. That can happen.
But that's not what I was talking about.
Sometimes they come back and DO remember.
it's not always for long, sometimes only even on those weird weekends-- but it's something. And it's... nice to have a chance to say the things you always wanted to say but never got to, while the person was here.
[Or ALIVE, in some cases.]
Anything can happen in this place, is what I'm saying. Sometimes that's bad, but there's good things that can happen too.
